The Sovos Service Bureau handles federal IRIS e-filing, recipient copy print and mail, and eDelivery for all 1099 series forms - and is the required path for federal electronic filing for Tax Year 2026.
Sovos transmits directly to the IRS under our own TCC, so no TCC application is needed on your end.
The Service Bureau also supports print, mail, and IRIS e-filing for W-2, 1042-S, 5498, and 5498-SA forms. All records are processed in our secure SOC I Type II environment.
1099 series and 5498 e-filing customers are eligible for the IRS Combined Federal State Filing Program at no additional charge.

1099-NEC State Reporting Service
- The 1099-NEC tax form is included in the IRS CF/SF Program. However, many states continue to require direct reporting of the 1099-NEC.
